A Mysterious Landmark by Stephanie Johnson

A certain ancient feel is in the air. The large and uncertain pillars go much taller than any man. Below the ancient building is a long and grassy area where the trees and plant life are. This famous artifact has exactly twelve windows that are visible to the human eye when looking up. From what you can see, it has a very long and wide balcony right below a large oval structured tower shaped on top of everything else, as if it were on top of the world. The current setting is very spacious, calming, and peaceful. Should you trust it? The ancient feel while looking at this great monument is a very comfortable and peaceful. You decide to go right along with it. The current time of day is evening and you can tell by the way that the gorgeous sun is setting in the background. The entire scene seems like one from a dream. A small but lengthy fence lines the border of the entire famous monument. The fence looks almost rusted, old, and not very sturdy. You decide not to risk it. You find yourself outside of all the world just to be here.

  1. I love the wording you use, like gorgeous & ancient. I also love how you connected with the reader by asking "Should you trust it?"
