Both of my best friends are possibly crazy and wanted to count the names I have. So we did it to them too. Say what you might. Just read and enjoy, if you don't spit out your milk while you're reading this. -Jasmine C.
You do know that you brought this up and you agreed to posting these. If any one does spit out milk we take no responsibility for your ruined computer. -Marisa B.
I love milk! It's so awesome! I used to not like it, but now I do! If you have any questions about my numerous names, feel free to ask. Many have personal stories. If you have any other names that we forgot, please let us know at school or via comments! I love you all! You're absolutely, fabulously fantabulous! As well as neato, rad, spiffy, and nifty! As well as many more awesome adjectives that I would write but it would take FOREVER, and I'm extremely lazy. Plus, it's fingerpainting time!

My Nickname by Dallas Anderson

How it came
I'll never know.
It will stay, then
It will go.

For now it
Is what I am called.
How I got it,
I'm so apalled.

But for now
I must just live my life.
And hope that my name
Is free from strife.

I have been posting my blog comments as "Ovi 8." I got this nickname from playing hockey, as Alexander Ovechkin of the Washington Capitals does. He is number eight, so therefore, my nickname is "Ovi 8."

Hope you all enjoyed my poem!

Ovi 8

Strike or Past, Yet Another Poem by Marisa B.

Strike the sky
Strike it down
Steal the life away

Fade forever
Out of fact
Into myth
Towards legend

Past remembrance
Past hope of return
Towards happy days
Strike down my Past
_____________
I know I already posted this one, but I really want to make it better and I'd probably burn any paper that was unfortunate enough to have me check it for grammar. Thanks :]

Lost by Taylor Tomlinson

This was inspired by a series I read recently. Most of you will know it as the Percy Jackson series.

Lost hopes
Lost dreams
Floating slowly down
The river which you don't go back
A whisper for a sound
Lost toys
Lost cause
Never to be found
Though always waiting for their chance
To be taken from the ground
Lost words
Lost souls
Falling slowly down
Hoping for a hand to grab them
And pull them back to sound

A Lifting Quote: Found by Dallas Anderson

Hey all Honors 8 students,

I was looking at quotes for my essay on The Giver and The Book Thief and found this great quote. It brightened the mood of my day and I'm sure it will do the same for you!

"If one scheme of happiness fails, human nature turns to another; if the first calculation is wrong, we make a second better: we find comfort somewhere."

JANE AUSTEN, Mansfield Park
