3 Things I learned about the Holocaust; how it connects with The Book Thief by Jasmin Delilovic

These are some of the things I have learned about the Holocaust.

1. Nazis used propaganda to make their leader, Adolf Hitler, look good, and to make Jews look like evil rats. This made people believe him.

2. I've learned that Jehovah's Witnesses is a type of religious group and that Hitler tried to eliminate them, also.

3. I've learned that the Nazi regime was also against other peoples, like blacks, homosexuals, disabled people, not only the Jew.

How do these things connect with The Book Thief? The propaganda scared Alex Stiener and made him fear for his son, Rudy, because he wanted to be like Jesse Owens, a black man. Everyone knows about the hate that goes on in The Book Thief against jews, blacks, homosexuals, etc.
