Cold darkness in the willowy hallway. Walking along you emerge into a pillar of light. It's bright, but you focus. You first see a sea of blue. This overwhelms you, but you move on. Standing in the middle you feel at one with the world. You almost hate to go into the utter darkness. You look away, deeply wishing to be back home. With no traffic in the streets it would be and easy trek; but so far away, it would take nearly forever to cross the vast ocean, so you stay. Willingly you study the ancient architecture, enormous in size and full of history. With the sun at the horizon line, you admire the jagged crest formed at the frame. You walk away slowly, dragging your fingers delicately across the rough surface. You then enter the tunnels of darkness and leave this monumental place.

Terrific Jasmine!
ReplyDelete-Allie Neff :)
Nice job Jasmine, but one question. On the link did you mean coliseum or colliseum?
ReplyDeleteSteven Pappas
Okay so I'm a sucky speller. DEAL WITH IT!
ReplyDelete-Jasmine Crespo
That you are Jasimine, that you are
ReplyDeletePeter Rosen
Jasmine I was just stating the truth. No need to get all mad and caps locky on me.
ReplyDeleteSTEVEN PAPPAS
Jasmine, I love you & I love your writing...
ReplyDeleteEven if you are a big silly...
Love you!
Melissa T. B.
P.S. You use awesome words!
Thanks to all who don't make fun of me. I love you guys! Also, just because I use capital letters does not mean I'm angry. Mention this at school though and you might get hurt. Peter, if that's how you spell my name then you need serious help; the word I use was a very difficult word to spell so that is to be my final comment on this subject.
ReplyDelete-Jasmine Crespo
Brilliant, Jasimine, brilliant!
ReplyDeletePeter Rosen
Oops! I spelled it wrong again! Or maybe that was on purpose.
I think your computer was born without a backspace or delete button. If you spell it like that is is JAZZ-E-MAN or can I move on and still be called JJ or Jasmine or Jas or Jazzy. Some people even cally me JJC. Also, you stole my piano student's name for me. She can't say Jasmine for some reason so she calls me Jasimine.

Brilliant, Jasimine, brilliant!
ReplyDeletePeter Rosen
My, my I am getting repetitive, aren't I?
(sigh)...
ReplyDeleteI'm speechless to that Peter. That is a very big thing for me to say because I'm either silent or I can't shut up.
Why did we even start this? I just added an extra l to coliseum. Is that so wrong?
