Dusk by Taylor Tomlinson

Twilight was an amazing view in Sidney, Australia. The giant steel structure that went from the bay to the city was a sight to behold. The illuminations from the city could be seen from miles and miles away, the bay and its tent-like structures a wonder. But Jake did not care for it. His mind was turned to the ocean beneath the road. He loved the watch the fish swim around, even if the noise from above was annoying.
Jake was from America, who had come to Australia to become a marine biologist. What better place was there? Though most came for the famous bay and view of the ocean, he came just for those fish in the ocean. He looked up at the thousands of boat that were just sitting there, idling, polluting the ocean. He scowled, but there was nothing he could do, well, at least until the law was passed.
The bill stated that no boat can just sit in the ocean, for health and environmental reasons. They had to be on shore, they would create new places specifically for boats. Jake’s scowl became a smile as he looked above him at the road. It was beautiful in its own right, but nothing compared to the sea below him. He looked to the setting sun, and knew tomorrow would be a very good day.
